LPIC-1 is the first level certification from Linux. It is a professionally recognized credential by the NCCA, i.e. National Commission For Certifying Agencies.
In order to achieve this certification, students are required to clear exams 101 and 102.
LPIC-1 course makes candidates capable of:
- Working at Linux-based command line
- Installing and configuring workstations
- Connecting systems to LAN
- Connecting personal computers to the Internet
The training also teaches professionals how to execute simple maintenance activities. These include helping users, adding users to larger networks and systems, rebooting, taking backups, and performing restoration tasks.
While appearing for exams 101 and 102, students also have the choice to achieve CLA, i.e. Certified Linux Administrator certification. This is because there is a partnership between LPI and Novell. Hence individuals who clear exams 101 and 102, automatically qualify for the CLA certification. Participants interested in getting CLA certified, need to specify the same at the time of training.
Koenig provides LPI-1 training in all tracks - Regular, Fast, an Super Fast. Boot camps are conducted in all locations in India - Goa, Dehradun, Shimla, Delhi and Bangalore.
